Eye tests in Mablethorpe

Mable Opticians provides NHS sight tests at 1-2 Regents Mews, Victoria Road, Mablethorpe, checking how clearly you see and how healthy your eyes are.

What happens in an eye test?

An eye test, also called a sight test, measures how clearly you see at distance and up close and checks whether glasses or contact lenses would help. The optometrist also looks at the health of your eyes, which can show early signs of conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic eye disease, often before you notice any change.

The NHS recommends an eye test every two years for most people, or more often if your optometrist advises it. Many people can have a free NHS sight test, including children under 16, people aged 60 and over, and people with diabetes or glaucoma. Mable Opticians provides NHS sight tests, so call 01507 472842 to check whether you qualify and to book.
